π Welcome to It Was Mrs. White in the Library! π
Unlocking clues and creativity in education
Hey there, fellow educators and book enthusiasts! I’m a library teacher and instructional coach, nestled in the heart of a small, rural school. I have been an educator for over two decades, and I’m thrilled to invite you into my world at the intersection of education and creativity.
By day, I teach reading and library skills to PreK-5 students as well as serve as an instructional coach to support our new teachers. By night, I’m channeling my creative energy into crafting products I use to decorate my library (which is the center hub at my elementary school), as well as creating lesson material to enhance both my teaching and my studentsβ skills. I firmly believe in the power of sharing resources, and my blog is your backstage pass to the materials, strategies, and inspiration that make my classroom come alive.
I’m happily married to my high school sweetheart. Together, we have raised the next generation of educators β both of our children are attending college, studying to become teachers, as well.
Join me on this journey as I spill the ink on my experiences, creations, and insights. Let’s build a community where teachers support teachers, and together, we can make the noble task of education a little bit easier and a lot more enjoyable. So grab a cup of coffee and join me, Mrs. White, in the library!
